The Embrace can be characterized as a combination of abstraction, dark surrealism and cosmic art. The painting combines all the artist’s beloved motifs, such as ants, the starry sky, the red line and portrays an anonymous woman with a triangular aperture of the universe, the motif which grabbed artist‘s attention as far as in the early childhood as somewhat mysterious, unknown but also picturesque and inspiring. The naked body in Inga Noir’s art is not only portrayed with a distinct precision but also turns out to be another symbol, an intimate and intuitive visual feature or part of our collective memory.
