About In the Distance IV
In the Distance IV puts the viewer into a somehow beautifully melancholic moment by the beach. With the nearest part of the composition being the most detailed – whether you imagine the elements as debris from the sea or as intricate shells decorating the shore. Looking further, all of it is blurry yet undoubtedly familiar to the eye– sands of the beach, the water of the sea quite vibrant opposing to the gloomy skies which seem to be filled with rain that is about to start pouring. A sense of calm before the storm expressed through colors and brushstrokes.
